Whats the booking process like?
In order to reserve your space we ask for a 250€ deposit immediately, paid online bank transfer or by PayPal.
We will then send you out your final invoice and your booking form.
We then ask you to pay the full amount 8 weeks prior to the retreat. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.
2 weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have. If you need help to book your flights we can help you to find the best option.

What is the cost of the Retreat?
Each venue is different so we have prices that are fitting to each venue. Prices are on the specific retreats pages.
I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?
As the yoga mentality is, we have designed our retreats for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practicing for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being friendly and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start a new activity.
I am quite an experienced yogi, would I enjoy your retreats?
In a word yes. All our retreats are suitable for those who have done little or lots of yoga. The teachers are very experienced and ensure that every single person in the group has their needs and expectations met over the time they are with us.

What is included in the price of a yoga retreat?
Once you arrive on our yoga retreats everything is included.
Here is a summary:
- Breakfast, lunch, evening meal
- Gorgeous unique accommodation in rural and beautiful and peaceful places
- 10 yoga classes per day or more if it’s a FULL YOGA RETREAT
- Silent walks in the morning
- A workshop can sometimes be included in the price

All you have to pay for is your travel to and from the venue, which may include a train and taxi fare plus any treatments that you would like to have. For Yoga retreats with activities in the daytime instead of the walk, this is extra (surfing, horse riding, canoeing).
What time do I need to arrive on the retreats?
Our weekends usually start at 5pm on Saturdays. This gives you time to settle in to your room and have a stroll around the grounds before your first yoga class.
What time does the retreat end?
Our 7 days retreats finish at 10pm on Saturday after your breakfast.
Do I need Insurance?
We have our own public liability insurance and all our yoga teachers are fully covered to teach you, as do all our the professionals like surf teacher, boat tour… We require you to take out your own insurance when you join us on our holidays in case you have an accident whilst away with us. Whether practicing yoga or surfing, it is better to be protected.
What should I bring to a Yoga and Surf Retreat?
- A journal to process and write down your thoughts
- Appropriate clothing. It’s nice to bring slippers, comfy clothes and swimsuits. We give full advice on what to pack in our welcome letter.
- A few changes of yoga wear – our retreats offer yoga classes twice a day (or only one, it depends on the others activities).
- Good walking shoes for hikes. And sandals for beach destinations.
- A blanket or shawl for Savasana
I’m coming alone, is this ok?
Yes! We really hope you do decide to join us. We have a mix of people who decide to come with friends and those who would like to travel alone. Remember if you are deciding to join us alone, then there is a likelihood that there are other like-minded people who will be feeling the same! We always offered sharing rooms – it might sound intimidating but it’s an amazing way to feel a sense of community and sharing, and there are always lots of spaces to relax and unwind if you do need to escape from the group.
How many people do you have in a group?
The groups are voluntary smalls, it starts at about 8, and can go up to about 14.
I have specific dietary requirements, can I still come?
Yes, of course. You just have to notice us before coming.
What if I have to cancel?
We really hope you don’t but if you do we have a very strict cancellation policy because we are a very small company and cancellations can really affect us.
Can I stay another night?
The best thing to do if you want to extend your stay is get in contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will help you to arrange your stay.
What type of yoga do you teach?
We are focus on Vinyasa yoga but our teachers can organized other types of yoga class during the week.
How do I get to your retreats and holidays by public transport?
We can organise a group taxi share from the station to the venue. This saves money and is obviously better for the environment. Our holidays sometimes include transfers, sometimes it is an additional cost, but you can rest assured that we always make sure you are looked after travelling to and from the venue.
